SUMMARY

The material handler/rack loader will closely follow the production schedule while quickly and accurately loading and unloading parts from plating racks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify specific rack to use for specific parts.
  • Quickly fully load racks without missing a part.
  • Identify parts by number and by sight.
  • Identify plating defects.
  • Consistently maintain a clean work area.

Competencies and Skills:

  • Perform quick repetitive movements.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Understand and comply with company safety standards and federal regulations.
  • Must be a team player across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Acquire and maintain the speed necessary to load moving racks without missing a part.
  • Follow the production schedule.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 10 – 20 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be able to lift 20 – 40 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to easily grasp products and other materials.
  • Quick repetitive movements (bend body, move arms up and down).

Work Environment:

  • Climate-controlled, noisy environment.
  • Authorized access areas.
